In my early teens, I discovered an innate sense of design. Living in Greece influenced my stage design with its Mediterranean culture and landscape, leading to the company name "Oliva" - Latin for Olive.
My design journey advanced when I entered the hospitality industry by enrolling in hotel school in Vienna, Austria. The Viennese view hospitality as an art, blending 18th-century architecture with skilled service. Working for Relais & Chateaux, a group that values “Art de Vivre,” underscored how design and hospitality create lasting memories.
The concept of "coaching" design emerged from my 20 years as an Executive Coach in Change Management. Coaching models and Organizational Development principles (Discover, Dream, Design & Develop) clarified my approach. Applying these to home design achieves similar results through structured and creative thinking.
